Look-out Point Ampang

I have to admit, Mr Ang has better EQ than I do. He knows when and where and how to behave or how to act. He is observant and thus, he knows how to react properly in front of different people. This is especially important in his career as he needs to meet a lot of bosses, customers and colleagues. This is one of his attitude that I have to learn.

Though he is now in a different company, he still keep in touch with some of his ex-colleagues. Yesterday, they meet up and went to have dinner at a place called Look-out Point at Ampang. Well, I've heard about the place but I have never been there. It is located at a higher place than KL city itself, thus you can actually see whole KL from the top of it.

They went to have dinner at a restaurant called Haven.

View from Haven.
Mr Ang had a picture at the restaurant.
Mr Ang with one of this ex-colleague, Cynthia.

Mr Ang with another ex-colleague, Mavis.

The grillled sea food. They didn't order as it was quite expensive.

More seafood.
Mr Ang ordered a coconut.

Fried fish with gravy.
Chicken.

Lala. According to Mr Ang, this is one of the best dish.

This is mango and papaya salad.

Mix vege with sea food.

Saute fern leaves and shoots.

Grilled sotong.

These are the food that Mr Ang taken with his white rice.

Dessert. Too sweet.

Mango with sticky rice. The mango started to turn black.

Another view from the restaurant.

Mr Ang, cam-whoring.

Coincidentally, one of the ex-colleague birthday fell on that day. They bought a cake to celebrate. This is a green tea with red beans. I like this flavor.

Views of KL from the top of Look-out Point.
Finally, a picture together.
With another ex-colleague, Chang.

15th August 2010. Happy Mid Autumn Festival!

Starting this entry with the look of the moon on that day! This was taken by Mr Ang at KL on Mooncake festival day! People always say that the moon on that day is the roundest, clearest and brightest. Well, I am not sure whether it is a myth or scientifically proven. I think it is true cos some how, i think I read it some where that the planet earth and the moon almost located opposite to each other on that day.

Unfortunately, Mr Ang and I were not together that day. Aunty Fong (Fong E) brought him to have dinner with her family.

That's Mr Ang cam-whoring again.

Mr Ang and Mandy.

Mervin and Uncle Mak (Yi Chiong).

Grilled duck. According to Mr Ang, not bad. Only cost them RM25. That was quite cheap. A lot of people take away.

Beancurd, Mandy's and Mervin's favorite.

Butter chicken.

Fried egg.

Vege soup.

Happy Mid Autumn Festival folks.
