Jogoya, here we come!!!

Yesterday was Mr Ang's birthday. He is getting old and wiser! Well, getting old is the truth, but wiser? Hmm, maybe i need to rephrase that. For me, Mr Ang is always wise at the correct time. I don't want him to be wise all the time, in that case, i'll be falling in love with a dull guy. When he is with me, he'll play around and fool around with me. But when it is not the time to do so, he will be mature. That's what i like bout him.

Back to his birthday. We'd planned to pay a visit to Jogoya, the Heaven of Food, especially sashimi and Japanese food. We got a buy-one-free-one voucher, so without further delay, Jogoya, here we are!

There were too many food for us to try. Our stomach is not able to fit them all. Here are some pictures of the food we had.

Variety machi!

The sweet and young coconut, i've had 4 of them!

These are the clips that you used to place your orders

For the first time in my life, i tried champange. It was sucks.

These are huge lai liu har served there. but only for VIP
There are many section for each food. There were, Steam food section, Sashimi, Chinese cruisine, fruits, dessert, ice-cream, drinks, coconut, shark fin soup, clams, salad, etc.

Actually, before we were there, we've told each other so many times that, whatever we eat, must take picture first. We get so excited we forgot. keke.. It is normal, we can hardly do 2 things at one time.

We were so full that we could hardly walk. It makes me remind of my friend, what she said last time when we had a buffet in Kuching. She said she was just like a snake that had just eaten a big meal, can't walk.

After the meal, we went to walk around at Star Hill. All the restaurants there were actually very nice. We never walked around that area. We ate too full that day. we had great time. Plan to visit Jogoya again. Haha..

Whose birthday is it?

Today is my birthday. I am in Ipoh, i didn’t go back to KL for the day. I don’t feel lonely or pity of myself. I am very happy because the people that i care always remember my birthday. My bf sang happy birthday to me over the phone for 3 times until now;

1st time: yesterday around 9.45pm, when he was on his way to his friend’s house to catch the movie “Valkyrie”
2nd time: yesterday around 11.15pm, when he was waiting for the movie to start at 11.30pm. i teased him by asking him to sing it louder. He really did sing louder but with his mouth covered. Eventually i have to asked him to stop.
3rd time: today around 12.20 noon, after he wake up.

It feels happy and grateful to hear him sing them. Each time i hear them, tears rolling in my eyes. I am really thankful that i finally found someone who really love me and care for me. Baby, i love you too.

I am really happy that my family members remember my birthday and wish me on time too. My mummy wished me yesterday. She can’t believe that i’ve reached 27 years old. Well, still the same old stuff from her; when getting marry? When get her a grandchild? When this and when that. Then, Jia and Nong called from Singapore midnight just to wish me happy birthday. Thank you Jia, thank you Nong, even though Jia sound sleepy. Then, there were my dearest friend to wish me my birthday. Thanks for all the wishes!

In my family, birthday is not a big deal. We do not celebrate it as if it is someone’s “Birthday”! That is why i forgot my bf birthday once. I felt really awful. I am really sorry baby, i won’t forget your birthday anymore. In my family, we just wish each other and as for mummy, she will always give us a BIG hug during our birthday. Hey, don’t think that we were poor kids that we don’t celebrate birthday at all! We just don’t take birthday as unusual day. However, i know mummy did tried her very best and celeb our birthday whenever she has the chance to do so. I understand, mum is a career woman, without mum, i won’t be here blogging.

That is why i still remember my only birthday party. It happened when i was 2 years old. Hmm, that was, 25 years ago. Mum held a birthday party for me. I was chubby and greedy little fellow. Mummy baked me a chocolate cake with 2 eggs on top. Those eggs resembling my age and i ate them all. Mum invited all the friends, my nanny children, neighbours, her colleagues’ kids. Actually i can’t recall much, all i can remember are those eggs. Oh, i still remember the suit that i was wearing. It was a baby suit in baby-blue color with short sleeves and short pants. I was very comfortable in it eventhough it makes me looked like a boy. Thank you mum, it was one of my best suits ever. I bet Nong and Onge also feels the same way because they wore them after me. Mum took a lot of photos of me during that time. We still keep them.

Then, there was another year, it was one of us’ birthday. I couldn’t remember whose. We bought an icing cake for her. I was too excited about the icing cake that i ate all the icing instead of the cake. During midnight, i vomited when i was on the way running from my room to the toilet because the icing was too oily.

I am not good in remembering people’s birthday. I can only remember those birthdays that are close to mine. So far, i can only remember a few,

Mum: Chinese calendar July 13th
Dad: 3rd April
Jia: 1st March
Nong: 17 May
Onge: 1st Aug
My bf: 21st Feb

And so on..  Sorry my dearest friends, i can’t recall, have to refer facebook. Gosh i am really poor in this stuff!

For this birthday, i’ve reached an agreement with my bf. We’ll celebrate it by having a Japanese buffet in Jogoya. Well, he actually mentioned that he wanted to surprise me by coming to Ipoh, but, Ipoh is such a small town. Where we’re going to celeb it? So, we decided to save time and cost by celebrating his and my birthday together at Jogoya. Yahoo! Can’t wait to have the entire “fairy tales” dish in Jogoya. You’ll know what i am talking about if you read about Jogoya’s advertisement.
There is another great place just like Jogoya. It’s called Tenji. It is situated at Mont Kiara Solaris. I always pass by this place everytime i come back from Ipoh. I'll up load the pictures after i go Jogoya.

C-section? Nah, i don't think so..

Today i followed Dr Teoh to witness an SVD(spontaneous vaginal delivery). She is actually someone i know, Joanne. She was having check-up in NTA clinic and this is her second child. She had completed one of her life’s target; to have a son and a daughter in a family. Her husband was also there.

Once i enter labour room, she was prepared, just to wait for the doctor to come for delivery. When i saw her, i also felt painful. Then, there goes the push-ah-e-o thing. First the baby’s hair, then the head, then shoulder, lastly the whole baby. Once the shoulder out, the whole baby is out. It happened so fast that it was like a magic show. Acadabra! A baby! (instead of a pigeon) then, the doctor will take in charge of the mother; pulling out the placenta; stitching; bla, bla....

Right after the baby is born, oh, did i say it’s a he? He was put in front of the mother, which is on her stomach. at first, he wasn't crying, the nurse must vacuum all the slimy things out from his nose and mouth, then he cried. So loud, keke, he is a very healthy boy.

The whole thing actually makes me think of not having normal delivery in the future. i makes me feel painful. But then, someone else told me this, It is the feeling that you fell right after the baby is out that really matters. This saying got me think again. But, we will never know what will be going on in the future. who knows...

Dr Teoh brought me to a restaurant (Yum Yum) for laksa. It was Siam laksa. It was really really nice. Well, i've forgotten to take the picture. Once i remembered it, I was halfy way finishing the laksa. Nevermind, at least i remembered to take the dessert photo. It was oat porridge. Very nice too.

Below are some pictures of the restaurant. It is very authentic, with air-con. There were lots of people, even we also share table with strangers. I should bring my friends to this place if they come.

Oh Jia, these are the undies that i bought from Avon. I mentioned to you before. It comes with 4 undies with only RM22, you like? kekek....oh, they are very comfy.
